Thanks Carol, but No Thanks

This was the first posting to therightslant.com's predecessor, eatananimal.com., five years ago this week. As you can see it deals with Carol Moseley-Braun and the launch of her presidential campaign. I hope my improvement as a writer from then until now will be just as evident as the futility of her White House aspirations.

Former Senator Carol Moseley-Braun may become the ninth Democratic candidate. Right off she begins criticizing tax cuts for creating debt that will be forced onto future generations. Funny how she cannot accept that excess government spending to the tune of trillions each year can create deficits. Only leaving money in the pockets of those who produce it is evil in her sight.

Mrs. Braun thinks a woman president would lead the nation to prosperity. Maybe the same could be said for certain blacks as well. But not when they come in the package deal known as Carol Moseley-Braun.
